Royston Carr Asset Management - FMA warns of investment fraud

The Republic of Taiwan seems to be a center of an investment fraud. Is Royston Carr Asset Management part of it? The Austrian FMA is warning about four companies that appear to be operating out of Taiwan and committing large-scale investment fraud. One of the four companies is Royston Carr Asset Management. Apparently, the company is part of a group of investment fraudsters based in Taiwan. Worldwide, their employees called customers from the numbers +886 2 7703 4447 and +886 2 7703 4448. The accounts of the investment scammers are not in Taiwan, but in Hong Kong. Victims are currently concerned with two questions. Is there any help for investment fraud?

Royston Carr Asset Management: are they investment fraudsters? Undoubtedly!
Professionalism, fine articulation, elevated education, excellent demeanor and understated compassion distinguish the callers. Each understands the concerns of the particular customer. A phrase like "If you don't feel comfortable doing it, don't do it." follows every sales call. Before that, callers create feelings of urgency. They emphasize exclusivity and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They make a plausible case for why Royston Carr Asset Management is inviting new clients. They divert attention away from the risks and toward the securities. They draw attention from the present to the future. They emphasize the long-term nature of the relationship and imply trust. They impress with knowledge and current references to the financial market. Royston Carr Asset Management's psychologically trained callers manipulate prospects perfectly.

Royston Carr Asset Management: the course of the investment scam
Cold calling begins with a surprise phone call. In this case, from a Taiwanese number, where the caller will mention Royston Carr Asset Management's neatly laid out website in the very first conversation. The caller refers to the reports of well-known news formats. The investment scammers avoid names and faces in their web presence, it appears impersonal. Then the investment scammers offer promotions with companies in Hong Kong. For this, they use fake addresses. Finally, those called go through a yes-question street, which is a manipulation technique of rhetoric that in this case is aimed at getting a positive investment decision.

Royston Carr Asset Management: fake news
To alleviate doubts of the called, the supervisor asks to Google Royston Carr Asset Management along with Wall Street Journal, Forbes and other well-known publications. The search brings up articles with Royston Carr Asset Management. These are not editorial, but self-written, paid articles. Because this is not possible with Forbes, the investment scammers resorted to a drastic method. The domain forbes-focus[dot]com faked the original and linked every article in it to forbes.com. Except for the reports about Royston Carr Asset Management. This shows the high level of criminal energy with which the investment scammers operate.

Royston Carr Asset Management: Active in German-speaking countries
The investment fraud scheme is well known. With it, the perpetrators succeed in persuading the victims to place increasingly higher stakes. The investment fraudsters did not spare the German-speaking countries. The Taiwan Connection opened a new chapter of investment fraud in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Because there is no doubt about the investment fraud cases, the Austrian FMA warned logically against Royston Carr Asset Management.

Royston Carr Asset Management: Entrapped funds flow to Hong Kong
The investment fraudsters of Royston Carr Asset Management initially deceive the victims into believing that they have coveted share packages of global companies at their disposal. They offer these at unusually good conditions. The investors transfer the purchase price to accounts of HSBC or Bank of China in Hong Kong. At this point, the alleged investment fraud Taiwan suddenly turns into the actual investment fraud Hong Kong. When investors want their profits paid out after one or more investments of this type, they realize that they have been deceived by an investment fraud.

Royston Carr Asset Management: it is neither a trader, nor a broker.
What is Royston Carr Asset Management? There is no company called Royston Carr Asset Management at the address given in Taiwan's capital Taipei. In fact, it does not exist. Thus, Royston Carr Asset Management is nothing but a website with a fake address that serves as a cover for investment scammers. No one knows where the investment scammers are. At least not in Taiwan.

So far, the complex of investment fraud Taiwan and Hong Kong can be attributed to these bogus companies:

Royston Carr Asset Management: The Criminal Side
Where are investors best looking for help with investment fraud? Good investment fraud lawyers operate on two tracks. They initiate criminal action while also tracking down the misappropriated funds. For criminal action to be taken at the national and international level, the attorney must fully investigate the facts of the case. This works best when the responsible prosecutors receive a fully prepared indictment.

Royston Carr Asset Management: tracking down the money
How does the attorney search for, find, and track the money? Detailing these complex procedures is beyond the scope of this article. Banks have duties defined by lawmakers when money laundering or other illegal transactions are suspected. Insofar as the money houses enabled or facilitated the investment fraud by default, they are willing to cooperate. An experienced investment fraud lawyer knows the international legal basis for pursuing investment fraud cases. If the lawyer is familiar with the practices of the financial institutions, he can certainly arouse their willingness to cooperate.
