Capital Swiss - CONSOB warning against Forex Broker

The alleged online broker Capital Swiss sells itself as a serious platform for online trading. However, there is ample evidence that unacceptable conditions prevail at Capital Swiss. Reports from traders about Capital Swiss are piling up, talking about telephone terror, rip-offs and investment fraud. Investors have lost all their money invested with Capital Swiss. Serious doubts are spreading. Meanwhile, many investors of Capital Swiss have the feeling that it is an investment fraud. All Capital Swiss investors are wondering if they have fallen victim to investment fraudsters? And what can Capital Swiss investors do if the suspicion of investment fraud is substantiated? Will Capital Swiss investors get their money back? Does it make sense to file a criminal complaint against Capital Swiss with the police? Where can I get help with investment fraud?

Capital Swiss: Unbelievable information on capital-swiss.com!
What do unsuspecting investors need to receive at www.capital-swiss.com? "Capital Swiss makes trading SAFE and SECURE...We have developed and established partnerships that ensure an unparalleled experience for our traders...With a range of customized trading solutions suitable for both novice and professional traders, we create the ultimate trading environment for you...Our team of professional brokers is hand-picked and committed to the success of our traders and the integrity of our brand...With over 10,000 satisfied clients and $100 million invested, we invite you to join our company and experience the power of trading." This is just a small sampling of the suspect promises that interested parties can find on Capital Swiss' website. None of these full-bodied promises from Capital Swiss have been fulfilled. Unfortunately, the suspicious business conduct rather makes for disappointed investors and miserable experiences!

Capital Swiss: Hide-and-seek game with the domain entry!
Remarkable for the business practices of the Capital Swiss makers is that the website does not contain an imprint. Thus, the complete information about the legally responsible operators of the website is missing. If one takes a look at the domain data of the Capital Swiss website, there are no references to the operators. However, one learns that the domain was only registered with Hosting Concepts B.V. on 23.01.2020. The real domain owners are hiding behind the Dutch anonymization service Whois Privacy Protection Foundation.

Capital Swiss: Who is behind it?
Many investors will find it rather difficult to answer this question, as the Capital Swiss makers are doing everything they can to conceal the true circumstances. However, this is nothing unusual. The perpetrators usually operate several of these websites with the same fraudulent business model. These are created in advance, quickly put on the net and just as quickly shut down. The top-level domain is often changed to fool financial regulators and law enforcement. But who is the operator? There is scant information about this on the Capital Swiss website. The company DevTech Holding is listed with the three business addresses 35 Evelyn St, London SE8 5RT, United Kingdom, 157 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong and Australia Square, 95 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, but the makers of Capital Swiss cannot be found under these addresses. In addition, there is the obligatory support email address and the UK phone number +4420808976698.

Capital Swiss: The customer acquisition of the investment fraudsters
The same approach can be found here again and again: In order to acquire new customers, the offers of Capital Swiss are advertised in all conceivable media and channels. Time and again, this involves misinformation. To increase the deception, they upload promotional films on Youtube or Vimeo in which interested investors are convinced with fictitious references. Here, supposed celebrities report on their experiences with online trading and cryptocurrencies, often with a misleading reference to the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen". At the same time, an affiliate program is often started to motivate others to beat the advertising drum for Capital Swiss.

Capital Swiss: Criminal business practices
As soon as the customer has registered on the trading platform, he receives calls from alleged financial brokers who like to refer to their many years of experience and their satisfied customer base. In many cases, however, the makers of this business model are fraudsters, against whom the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) also warn. Usually the investors start with a small sum as employment. Beforehand, investors are also often motivated to install remote maintenance software, such as "AnyDesk" or "TeamViewer" on their computers, so that assistance can allegedly be provided with the first steps. In many cases, the computer is subsequently manipulated and unwanted transactions are carried out. In the process, the investment fraudsters also frequently gain access to their victims' online banking. What is particularly criminal, however, is when supposed profits are displayed on the trading platform in order to entice the customer to place further high stakes. In some cases, even small sums are returned in order to lull investors into a sense of security. Who then does not want to increase the stakes further? But what happens next?

Capital Swiss: Repayment of the money will be subject to conditions
Once in, an exit is usually impossible. Rather, the administrators of the investment scammers tie a repayment of the money to further deposits. Here employees come to the employment, which make alleged tax debts and commission payments valid. If these were settled, it would come to the disbursement of the allegedly obtained profits. The perpetrators send the investors self-made tax and commission statements, often decorated with fake coats of arms. These would have to be paid urgently. A clearing with the allegedly obtained profits, is never possible. If an investor refuses further deposits, alleged profits are converted by senseless transactions into losses and the customer maximally damaged. This is not the end of the horror, but investors are permanently confronted with calls from other dubious providers. This indicates that the contact details of the investors are further traded among the investment scammers. In the end, a "saviour" regularly comes forward claiming to have uncovered the whole scam. He impresses with his insider knowledge. No wonder, he's part of the scam gang. The next rip-off! And of course the "rescuer" also wants a small fee - up front!

Capital Swiss: Scheme of investment fraud?
There is no legitimacy of the Capital Swiss trading platform. Capital Swiss lacks the legitimacy of a recognised European financial supervisory authority, such as the English Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec), which is frequently used by brokers. Similarly, there is no authorization from the Swiss Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (finma) or theFinancial Market Authority (FMA) of Austria, which is responsible for Switzerland. For this, there is a warning from the Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB)dated 20.09.2021. This is the Italian supervisory authority for the financial market and financial services. It is effortless to see that Capital Swiss is a scheme of capital investment fraud. All investors harmed by Capital Swiss are advised to consult an investment fraud lawyer as soon as possible.

Capital Swiss: Where are the investment fraudsters active?
Unfortunately, the illegal activities of Capital Swiss were not limited to the English-speaking world. Because Capital Swiss addresses German-speaking investors as well, it is only a matter of time until the defrauded investors of this speaker group will come forward as well. Going through the list of regulators is recommended before any financial commitment to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of investment fraud.

Capital Swiss: Investors want their money back!
The situation is far better than it seems. The investors who have suffered losses can take countermeasures and reclaim their invested capital. At the moment it is not to be expected that the investment fraudsters of Capital Swiss will be seized soon, but nevertheless there is reason to hope. The reason for this is the fact that the money transactions took place via accounts that were actually provided by reputable banks. Those responsible obviously failed to check the sometimes high and therefore controllable deposits made by investors and their forwarding for illegality. These omissions enabled the investment fraudsters to carry out their criminal activities in the first place.

Capital Swiss: You want your money back! How does that work?
Equipped with this knowledge, investors would not have entered into transactions with Capital Swiss. Now the only alternative left to them is to seek redress. Many investors cannot even imagine that there is any real chance of ever seeing their money again. Presumably all of them are now asking themselves whether they can get their money back? Clearly yes! There are numerous legal bases to fall back on. The generic term is "money laundering." When investment fraudsters collect money, the offence of money laundering is committed. Financial institutions have a duty to take action against money laundering. This is where one starts with good chances of success. Before doing so, essential questions should be clarified. What was the destination of the funds misappropriated by Capital Swiss? Is there a realistic chance that the victims of the investment fraud will get back the money they invested with Capital Swiss? What actions are obligatory next? A lawyer specialising in investment fraud will be happy to answer such questions thoroughly for you.

Capital Swiss: Who can help?
What can be done in the event of investment fraud? What help can victims of Capital Swiss hope for in the event of investment fraud? Capital Swiss victims will ideally find the help they need from an experienced investment fraud attorney. He or she will be able to take care of your case with Capital Swiss both in terms of the criminal aspects of investment fraud, as well as the recovery of funds and possible claims for damages. A trading lawyer is also an option because they are also aware of the methods used by fraudulent brokers such as Capital Swiss.

Capital Swiss: Follow the money trail!
Such abuses on the non-regulated capital market have been pursued by the internationally active investor protection law firm Resch Rechtsanwälte for over 30 years. In this respect, the approach of Capital Swiss is nothing really new. Over the years, Resch Attorneys at Law have developed some effective tools for tracking down money that has disappeared and tracing the flow of funds. Making funds actually disappear is becoming increasingly complicated in the age of the Internet. The quicker those affected follow the money trail, the better the chances are that they will get their invested capital back. What matters now is that investors who have been harmed by Capital Swiss take immediate action.
