AbbInvest - Italian financial regulator warns online traders

The alleged online broker AbbInvest claims to be a flawless trading platform for online trading with CFDs and Forex. However, there are numerous indications that AbbInvest is not doing things by the book. Reports from traders about AbbInvest are piling up, talking about telephone terror, rip-offs and investment fraud. All of them have lost their money invested with AbbInvest. Doubts are spreading. In the meantime, many investors of AbbInvest have the feeling that it is an investment fraud.  All investors of AbbInvest are asking themselves whether they have become victims of an investment fraud? And what can AbbInvest investors do if the suspicion of investment fraud is substantiated? Will the investors of AbbInvest get their money back? Does it make sense to file a criminal complaint against AbbInvest with the police? What help is available in case of investment fraud?

AbbInvest: Transparent information on abbinvest.com!
What do the perplexed prospective investors have to receive on abbinvest.com? "Tremisa Ltd provides world-class commodity and foreign exchange trading services to meet the needs of commodity trading clients since the company's inception in 2005...Tremisa Ltd is a UK registered company authorized and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority...The value we provide is second to none...In addition to providing favorable trading conditions to stimulate high profits for our clients, we also ensure the availability and security of funds." This is just one small passage of the implausible claims that interested parties can find on AbbInvest's website. Not one of these full-bodied assurances by AbbInvest has been fulfilled. Regrettably, the dubious business practices rather provide for disappointed investors and bad experiences!

AbbInvest: Hide-and-seek game with the domain entry!
Remarkable for the business practices of the AbbInvest makers is that the website does not contain an imprint. Thus, the complete information about the legally responsible operators of the website is missing. If one takes a look at the domain data of the website of AbbInvest, there are no references to the operators to be found. However, one learns that the domain was already registered with NameCheap, Inc. on 09/14/2020. The real domain owners hide behind the Icelandic anonymization service Withheld for Privacy ehf.

AbbInvest: Who is behind it?
Answering this question will be rather difficult for many investors, as the AbbInvest makers do everything to conceal the true circumstances. However, this is nothing unusual. The perpetrators usually operate several of these websites with the same fraudulent business model. These are created in advance, quickly put online and just as quickly shut down. The top-level domain is often changed to deceive financial regulators and law enforcement agencies. But who is the operator? There is scant information about this on the AbbInvest website. The company Tremisa Ltd. with the business address Beachmont Business Centre, 192, Kingstown, St.Vincent and the Grenadines is indicated, but the makers of AbbInvest cannot be found under this address.

AbbInvest: The customer acquisition of the investment fraudsters
Here the same procedure can be found again and again: In order to acquire new customers, the offers of AbbInvest are advertised in all possible media and channels. Most of the time the offers are false information. To increase the effect, they upload films on Youtube in which interested investors are convinced with false references. Here, supposed celebrities report on their experiences with online trading and cryptocurrencies, often with a misleading reference to the TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen". With the same intention, an affiliate program is usually started to incite others to intensively promote AbbInvest.

AbbInvest: criminal business practices
As soon as the customer has registered on the trading platform, he receives calls from alleged financial brokers who like to refer to their years of experience and their satisfied customer base. In many cases, however, the makers of this business model are fraudsters, against whom the Federal Criminal Police Office and the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) also warn. Usually the investors start with a small sum as employment. Beforehand, investors are also often motivated to install remote maintenance software, such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer on their computers, so that assistance can supposedly be provided with the first steps. In many cases, the computer is subsequently manipulated and unwanted transactions are carried out. In the process, the investment fraudsters also frequently gain access to their victims' online banking. What is particularly criminal, however, is when supposed profits are displayed on the trading platform in order to entice the customer to place further high stakes. In some cases, even small sums are returned in order to lull investors into a sense of security. Who then does not want to further increase the stakes? But what happens next?

AbbInvest: Repayment of the money is attached to conditions
Once in, exit is mostly impossible. Rather, the administrators of the investment scammers tie a repayment of the money to further deposits. This is where employees come in, claiming alleged tax debts and commission payments. If these are settled, it would come to the disbursement of the allegedly obtained profits. The perpetrators send the investors self-made tax and commission statements, often decorated with fake coats of arms. These would have to be paid urgently. A clearing with the allegedly obtained profits, is never possible. If an investor refuses further deposits, alleged profits are converted by senseless transactions into losses and the customer maximally damaged. This is not the end of the horror, but investors are permanently confronted with calls from other dubious providers. This indicates that the contact details of the investors are further traded among the investment fraudsters. In the end, a "savior" regularly comes forward, claiming to have uncovered the whole scam. He impresses with his insider knowledge. No wonder, since he is part of the fraud gang. The next rip-off! And of course, the "savior" wants a small fee - in advance!

AbbInvest: Scheme of investment fraud?
There is no authorization of the online broker AbbInvest. AbbInvest lacks the legitimacy of a recognized European financial regulator, such as the English Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec), which is often used by brokers. Likewise, there is no authorization from the Swiss Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (finma) or the Financial Market Authority (FMA) of Austria, which is responsible for Switzerland. Instead, there is a warning from the Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa (CONSOB) dated 24.05.2021. This is the Italian supervisory authority for the financial market and financial services. It is not difficult to see that AbbInvest is a scheme of capital investment fraud. All victims of AbbInvest are advised to contact an investment fraud lawyer as soon as possible.

AbbInvest: Where are the investment fraudsters active?
Investors are dealing with AbbInvest investment fraud in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Unfortunately, AbbInvest's illegal activities are not limited to German-speaking countries. Because AbbInvest is also targeting traders in Italy and Spain, it is only a matter of time until the defrauded from these language areas will come forward as well. A look at the list of regulators is advisable before any financial commitment to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of investment fraud.

AbbInvest: Claims for damages against banks
Anyone wishing to provide financial services and investment transactions in Germany requires a permit from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). Doing, supporting or facilitating such business, even across borders into Germany, is prohibited. Companies that nevertheless participate in such transactions are obliged to pay damages to investors who have suffered losses. Such investment fraud cases would probably not have been feasible without such banks.

AbbInvest: Investors want your money back!
The constellation is by far not as hopeless as it seems. The aggrieved investors can take countermeasures and reclaim their invested capital. At present it is rather not to be expected that the investment cheats of AbbInvest are seized promptly, nevertheless there is cause to hope. Hope because the money flowed through accounts provided by banks that were concerned about good reputation. Those responsible demonstrably neglected to check the partly high and therefore controllable deposits of the investors and their forwarding for legality. Such omissions made the investment fraud possible in the first place.

AbbInvest: You want your money back! How does it work?
Equipped with this knowledge, the investors would not have agreed to invest with AbbInvest. Now the only option left for the victims is to seek redress for the loss. Many investors cannot even imagine that there is any real chance of ever seeing their money back. Presumably all of them are now wondering if they can get their money back? Clearly yes! There are numerous legal bases to fall back on. The generic term is "money laundering." When investment fraudsters collect money, the crime of money laundering is committed. Financial institutions have a duty to take action against money laundering. This is where one starts with good chances of success. Relevant questions must be clarified in advance. To what destination have the funds embezzled by AbbInvest been taken? Is there a chance that the victims of the investment fraudsters will get back the money they invested with AbbInvest? What steps are necessary from now on? You can get the answers to these questions from a lawyer specializing in investment fraud.

AbbInvest: Who can help?
What to do in case of investment fraud? What kind of help in case of investment fraud can the victims of AbbInvest hope for? The victims of AbbInvest will ideally find the help they need from an experienced investment fraud lawyer. He is able to take care of your case with AbbInvest both in terms of the criminal aspects of the investment fraud, as well as the recovery of funds and possible claims for damages. A lawyer for trading is also a possibility, because he is also familiar with the methods of fraudulent brokers, such as AbbInvest.

AbbInvest: Follow the money trail!
Such abuses on the unregulated capital market pursue the Anlegerschutzkanzlei Resch attorneys since more than 30 years. The approach of AbbInvest is in this respect nothing really new. Over the decades, Resch Rechtsanwälte has developed a powerful range of instruments for tracking down the evaded amounts of money and tracing the money flows. Making funds disappear is becoming increasingly difficult in the age of the Internet. The sooner those affected follow the money trail, the greater the likelihood that they will recover the capital they have invested. It is important now that investors who have been harmed by AbbInvest react immediately.
